Many people looking for a dentist also need a doctor, and this group lists the medical clinics, family physicians, urgent care and walk-in centers, hospitals, pediatricians, eye doctors, medical specialists and pharmacies near the dental practices on the site. Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. Pharmacies fill the antibiotics and pain medication a dentist prescribes and sell fluoride rinses and prescription-strength toothpaste.

Fresno is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Fresno is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (If I could give 20 stars, I would.) I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who helped care for me at CRMC. From the moment I arrived in the ER, the staff who checked me in, the nurses, ER doctors, lab staff, and everyone else I encountered were kind, compassionate, and caring. The wait was long, as it often is in emergency rooms, but what made the difference was how well the staff took care of me throughout the process. When I arrived on the Neuro floor, Dr. Martinez told me to let him do his thing. I am incredibly grateful and thankful that he never gave up on me. He and his entire team did an outstanding job. The neurologists, nurses, lab staff, MRI technicians, Cath Lab staff, PT, Plasma Exchange team, dietary staff who brought meals, and so many others all played a part in my care. I’m sure I’m missing some people, but it truly was a team effort. I would not be in the condition I am today if it were not for the dedication, skill, and compassion of all these individuals. If it were not for the treatments and care I received, I would not be able to walk today. I am forever grateful for everything they did for me. I would also like to recognize Terry House f

I came into the emergency room at about 2am this morning. Once care was done I was moved up to labor and delivery. However I am not in labor or delivery. I refused care as a patient and waived my rights for my discharge paperwork. Instead of respecting my rights as a patient the care team decided they wanted to put me on a hold. I am a single parent and sole provider of a one year old so keeping me here is not ideal or realistic. I refused further care and treatment. However they tried to take me to a secure private room , I refused. They also block my path when I try to get up to use the restroom. This is very concerning and a traumatic experience which I was not expecting to have at a hospital. Depending on how fast this can be resolved will determine further action with a lawsuit .

My mom was sent here because of their neurological dept. which apparently Kaiser (her insurance) doesn't specialize in. She was put in the ICU after having suffered a massive stroke, and was being treated so kindly. Then because there was nothing more that could be done for her, all machines were turned off. But my mom didn't pass right away and even lasted another full day and night. So because she didn't die quick enough, they (ICU staff) told us they were going to put her in a quiet "Comfort Care" room on the 1st floor that would be more suited to my mom's situation, and be better for our family. That room was anything but comforting, caring, or quiet. It was in the psychiatric wing of the hospital. We thought we were going to be on a floor with other families going through what we were going through, but instead we had to walk through mental patients escaping their rooms, hollering, hitting themselves, and being scolded by staff, so we could get to my mom's room, in the very far corner, where it was dark, freezing in the room, and where her room shared a hallway with a mental patient that kept yelling and moaning loudly. In fact, while my mom was taking her final breaths, we ha

My son Darren was in a motorcycle accident Oct 18,2024. He was hit by a pickup and Had stomach surgery at KMC in Bakersfield, they transferred him to Fresno Regional Medical center. He received Wonderful care there. He was in ICU for almost 2 and half months. he had major back surgery and a rod was put in his back that was broken in 2 places, a rod in his right leg. he had at least 6 stomach surgeries because of infections. and at least ,3 back surgeries. over 54 blood units given. His stomach has been left cut open and healing from the inside out for over 2 years. he's struggling to get better. please keep him in prayers. Their antepartum and NICU units are amazing. I was recently admitted to their antepartum for PPROM and had to live there for almost 3 months. I must say all of the lovely nurses and staff were great. They provided me with excellent care and catered to my needs. Their NICU team was also great. I am grateful for the care that my son received while being there. This hospital is undervalued. I’ve been to all of the hospitals in Fresno/Clovis and this hospital has been where I’ve received the best care despite their location.
